Now Thomas has a new friend - storyteller Ringo Starr, who says "Thomas is a smashing little engine - he's cheeky and has a mind of his own. Thomas is Number One and never lets anyone forget it!".

  • The end credits of Thomas, Terence and the Snow feature a still image from Edward, Gordon and Henry. This was later repeated on Bumper Special.
  • The back cover features an image from Trouble in the Shed. This impacted the Kaleidoscope and ABC for Kids releases of Thomas and Gordon and other stories.
  • A small selection of copies of the UK VHS feature split-track stereo audio in which the narration and dubbing track can be heard in the left channel and the dubbing track without narration can be heard in the right channel.
  • The Danish DVD and the back cover of the South African VHS feature a promotional still from The Trouble with Mud, whilst the Romanian DVD features a still from A Friend in Need.
  • The episodes on the Romanian DVD are restored.
